Sovereign God

This month life has thrown some punches at me, but I am making it through. I will come out like a Champion for sure because that’s what God made me. The devil has been a little mad at me and J because we gave up listening to morning talk radio. Sidebar: Nothing is wrong with talk radio, but it was just something that we needed to do last week. We exchanged listening to the radio for prayer, praise and worship.

During my awesome moments of praise and worship, I would play this song called “Sovereign God” and I have fallen in love with it. This song has truly ministered to me in the past week. One of the lines in the song says, “if you can handle the seas, then I know that you can deal with all my needs.” There is so much truth to that statement. You have to have faith to give your needs to God. We aren’t capable of dealing with these things on our own. We try to do it, but that’s not our job. God says in his word to cast every care on him because he cares for us.

Please take a moment to listen to “Sovereign God” by Maurette Brown Clark.
